As humans, we have an innate desire to “feel good” about what we do with our lives. As master craftsman, each tile we place or floor we lay sets a pattern for flooring. At Lippert, each life we touch and cause we support sets a pattern for success – for our relationships, for our veterans, and for our community. It brings what is truly important to the surface.
That’s why we created Lippert Charitable Corporation, our 501(c)(3), in 2015… so we could continue enriching the lives of those around us through our annual events.

Homes for Our Troops
Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post – 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI).
We were first introduced to the cause in 2009, when asked to donate materials for a home in Eagle, Wisconsin. The rest…as they say…is history!
Why we chose HFOT?
- Designated 4-Star Charity, independently rated to exceed industry standards and outperform most charities in its cause
- Nearly 90 cents out of every dollar goes directly to programs
- Mortgage free homes are just the start – each Veteran receives support and financial counseling to become independent and successful in their new position in life
You see…what once began as a one-time materials donation turned into an annual fundraising event, and since has evolved into a daily passion at Lippert Flooring & Tile. It’s become part of our company culture. Everyone we work with knows who Homes For Our Troops is and what they do. And everyone understands the work our company and our charitable organization, the Lippert Charitable Corporation does to support such an amazing cause.
